Warren Rolle

Managing Director

Warren Rolle joined the Bahamas First Group in 1993 and he has held progressively senior underwriting and claims roles across the Group until his appointment as NUA Insurance Agents & Brokers Ltd.’s Managing Director in 2011. Under his leadership, NUA has continued to grow in size and diversity both organically and through multiple acquisitions.
 
He is currently the Chairman of the Bahamas Insurance Association and is also a Director of the Bahamas Entrepreneurial Venture Fund. Mr. Rolle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute in London, United Kingdom.

Judy Campbell

Vice President – Property & Casualty

Judy joined the company over 25 years ago, straight out of high school. Having started out as a receptionist, she has worked her way up through the organization. She served as the Operations Manager of the Property and Casualty Department for a number of years, and was appointed Assistant Vice President on March 1, 2011. In this position, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. The holder of the CII Certificate, Judy is currently furthering her insurance studies.

Ruth Kibe

Chief Financial Officer

Ruth Kibe joined Cayman FIRST in December 2010 after 7 years of work experience with a global audit firm in Kenya and Cayman. Prior to joining the company, she had been involved with financial services audits and more specifically in the captive insurance industry for 4 years having served as an audit senior and Manager in Cayman. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

Kahlill Strachan

Operational Risk & Compliance Manager

Kahlill rejoined Cayman First in December 2017 having previously served as the Business Development Manager. He has been involved with financial services and more specifically in the insurance industry for more than 15 years, having served as an Auditor, Insurance Regulator and Insurance Underwriter. His most recent role as Senior Property Underwriter of a Cayman based reinsurance company exposed him to captive and commercial clients worldwide, where he provided technical and data management for the range of business underwritten.

He holds a MA in Finance along with the following professional designations; Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant (FCCA).

Tania Ramsaran

Operations Manager – Health

Tania joined the company over 20 years ago. In her capacity as Operations Manager, Group Insurance Services, she is responsible for ensuring that the operations of Group Insurances Services department run smoothly and efficiently. Tania stays abreast of current industry trends through the completion of multiple training courses and seminars, and self-study and is currently furthering her studies.

Frances Patterson-Campbell

Claims Manager – Health

Frances is a pharmacist and prior to joining Cayman First, held management and marketing positions in the pharmaceutical industry in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. Frances holds a Master of Arts Degree in Marketing from Birmingham City University (formerly the University of Central England, Birmingham) a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Law (LLB Hons) from The University of London. She also holds the Health Insurance Associate (HIA) and Healthcare Customer Service Associate (HCSA) designations.

Nadia Lewis-Hamilton

Underwriting Manager – Health

Nadia is an experienced Life and Health insurance professional with over 10 years’ experience in underwriting and risk management. She previously worked with Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited as Assistant Vice President, Underwriting & Risk Management. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of the West Indies and the Associate of the Life Management Institute (ALMI) qualification.

Andrea McLennon

Claims Manager – Property & Casualty

Andrea is an experienced insurance professional with over 15 years’ management experience in the insurance industry in Jamaica. She has held senior management positions in business development, compliance and claims management with several insurance brokers, and has served as a Director on a number of boards and committees including the Insurance Institute of Jamaica and the Jamaica Insurance Brokers Association. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies and Psychology from the University of the West Indies and various insurance qualifications, including Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Kira Mathews

Customer Care Manager – Health

Kira joined Cayman First on June 1, 2000 as the receptionist and has worked her way through the organization. For fifteen years, she served as the Assistant Operations Manager in the Group Insurance Services unit; and was promoted to the Customer Care Manager on January 1, 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and currently pursuing her studies in insurance.

Roger Balkissoon

Technical Service Manager

Roger joined Cayman First in October 2019 and his role as Technical Services Manager is well served by his 28 years of diverse industry experience in business development, technical underwriting, training and managing teams and leveraging technology for greater efficiency. Roger’s wealth of experience has been gained in his travels through Canada, Trinidad and the wider Caribbean. Roger holds a B.Sc. in Sociology and Management and is a Fellow of the Canadian Insurance Institute (FCIP).
